National E-Week ~ Calling All Entrepreneurs ~ FREE EVENT
Wednesday, February 15; 3:00 PM; Science 102; Registration Required
If you have ever thought of starting a business, or own one and want to take it to the next level, this afternoon program can prove very valuable to your success.
Beginning at 3 p.m., the first hour showcases a panel of experienced local business owners who will share their tips for success; in addition, attendees will receive a useful guide to local and state business resources geared for entrepreneurs of all levels. From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. a panel of lenders will share their views about what they seek from loan applicants, followed by a question and answer session. Then from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. some participants will have the opportunity for 20 minute, one-on-one, coaching sessions to get feedback and advice on the next steps in their entrepreneurial journeys.
While this is a free event open to the general public, advance registration is required. To reserve your space, call 255-1439 or e-mail blfrey@maine.edu before February 10. If you are interested in booking a coaching session, please note there will be a maximum of only 15 slots available so early sign-ups are advised.
