Environmental Educator Opportunities
Our Environmental Education Program places individual AmeriCorps members at Host Sites that share our conservation mission. Environmental Educators can recruit, train and lead volunteers, teach school children and adults about environmental issues, work with watershed organizations to monitor water quality conditions, and research, educate and promote green initiatives such as energy conservation.
Environmental Educators earn a living allowance while gaining environmental experience, receive free health insurance, receive assistance with child care costs, can earn an Education Award to use toward student loans or for future college tuition, receive ongoing training and experience networking opportunities.
