As of Oct 15, 2007, students and community members will be charged 4 cents per page when printing or photocopying. The charges will automatically be drawn from your Clipper Card account.
UMM faculty, staff, and students want to minimize wasted paper and energy. We also want to be sure that one student’s tuition and fees do not subsidize someone else’s excessive printing.
Therefore UMM is joining some of the other University of Maine System universities in charging a modest per-page printing fee. The money collected will be used exclusively to partially cover costs of paper, ink, printers, and related software.
You can easily place money on your Clipper Card for printing or any other purpose by going to the following website, and using a credit or debit card to add funds to your account.
Alternatively, you can bring cash to the Business Office in Powers hall to have added to your account.
Community Patrons can obtain a card for printing at the First Stop, located in Powers Hall.
