Sabree Rodriguez Named NAIA All-American Honorable Mention

Sabree RodriguezSIOUX CITY, Iowa - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2011 Division II Women's Basketball All-America teams. Players are selected by the All-America committee. UMM sophomore Sabree Rodriguez was named an Honorable Mention.

Rodriguez helped lead the Clippers to their first-ever national tournament appearance when they defeated SUNY Canton to capture the Sunrise Conference Championship. At the national tournament in Sioux City, Iowa, the Clippers lost their opening round matchup against top-ranked Davenport University.

Rodriguez led the Clippers in scoring this season, averaging 18 points per game.
