Summer Marine Educator Positions
Sea Turtle Camp is currently
accepting applications for marine educator positions in their upcoming 2012
summer season. Sea Turtle Camp is based in Wrightsville Beach, NC
and was created to immerse teens in the field of marine biology while
empowering them to be proactive and take ownership of their environment. One of
our goals is to share our passion for life and teach young adults how to mold
that into a selfless, hard working team of individuals that can recognize
problems and work towards solving them.
Duties of the marine educators include preparing materials and equipment, developing and presenting marine science curriculum, and inspiring future generations of ocean stewards. The summer season runs from mid-June though early August with mandatory training at the beginning of June. Compensation is based upon education and experience, and includes housing and meals for the summer sessions.
